Hello there, Paula! Thanks for stopping by. Before I get to your question, please let me take a second to thank you for your service on behalf of all of us here at planDisney.
Our family always appreciates the military ticket offers that are available through Disney. Gifting tickets is not a problem, but depending on the ticket type you may need to be present. If you purchased standard tickets at your military base ticket office, you are welcome to gift them and there is no need to be present. If you purchased the deeply discounted
Disney Military Promotional Tickets, the military member or spouse who purchased the tickets need to be present with a valid military ID to activate them and one of the tickets must also be used by the military member or spouse. After that, the ticket holder can use them without you being present.
Another very important part of planning a visit to Disneyland Resort with tickets purchased on base is that your tickets must also have
theme park ticket reservations. Once you have the tickets purchased, you will need to link these tickets to a Disney account and then make theme park ticket reservations for the days and parks you are hoping to visit.
Paula, if you have any other questions about these tickets, be sure to stop back by. I'd be happy to try to help you out and make sure that your Disneyland visit is full of magic.
Carrie
