Does the military member who purchased Military Salute tickets for non-military people in their party have to be present with the non-military people each and every time they enter a park, or just for the one-time ticket activation process?

Hiya Beth! Thank you for reaching out to planDisney with your question today!

The Disney Armed Forces Salute has been renewed for 2023, and I don't know about you, but I am so excited! This is one of the magical offers offered to the military community and it goes the distance! Beth, make sure that whoever the service member is in your travel party holds on to the exchange certificates they were provided upon purchase. They will need to take them to Guest Relations at any of the four theme parks, or to Guest Relations at Disney Springs for activation, along with their military ID. Once this has been done, the tickets are considered "activated" and everyone can enter and leave the theme parks without presenting ID, or being with the service member throughout the visit. I usually activate my tickets the day before we begin our park visits, depending on which resort I am staying at I'll head to the nearest theme park, or I'll activate tickets at Disney Springs.

Beth, don't forget to ask the Cast Member activating tickets about the military discount on Memory Maker-A Disney PhotoPass Product! This magical deal gives you all the photos you take during your visit, including the ones taken at attractions, and some magical ones too! This is also a great opportunity to get holiday card photos done for the year! Beth, I hope your visit to Walt Disney World Resort is magical and full of pixie dust!
