I am a military member and cannot buy my distcount tickets until February, can I still make reservations? How?

    Hi Paul!

Welcome to planDisney! Thank you for asking this great Disneyland Resort Military Ticket question. I'm happy to be your planEAR today! But first of all, please let me say a huge double-ears chEARs and 'Thank You' for your service from all of us hEAR at planDisney!

I'm a military spouse and am very familiar with these 3 and 4-day Military Promotional Park Hopper Tickets. I definitely miss the pre-pandemic times when you could purchase these passes at the gate, minutes before you walked into the Magic of Main Street U.S.A. The addition of needing a Park Pass Reservation does make it a bit harder to be spontaneous (or bend to the whim of the Military's schedule) as you must have the purchased tickets entered into your My Disneyland account prior to making the reservations. But I do have some pro tips that hopefully will help:

    • hEAR's the Park Pass Reservation Calendar. You're going to select the bubble that says 'Park Hopper Ticket Guest'. So far you're looking so good. Playing around with this calendar will also give you a better understanding of what tends to get booked faster (dates, which parks, etc).
    • If you're waiting until February because that's when you'll be near an MWR/ITT facility, some bases are actually selling tickets over the phone. The travel offices at Camp Pendleton and NWS Corpus Christi are currently selling Disneyland Resort tickets over the phone/via email.
    • Lastly, while you do have to wait to make Park Pass Reservations, you'll be able to start making Dining Reservations in about a week. The Dining Reservation window opens 60 days in advance from everyday, so start reading menus and making a list of where you'd like to have a nice sit-down meal as the most popular locations (Blue Bayou Restaurant, Cafe Orleans, Carthay Circle Restaurant, Lamplight Lounge; any character meal) do book up on opening day, and usually very early in the morning.
I hope this helped to clEAR up your ticket trouble, Paul, and if you have any more Disneyland Resort planning questions We're All Ears!
