Hi Natalie!
Thank you for asking this great Disneyland Resort + Military trip planning question to us hEAR at planDisney. But first, please allow me to say a double-ears 'Thank YOU' for your service to our country! Mine is a military family too, and I'm very thankful for the opportunities we've had to reconnect and recharge with family and friends in the middle of the magic. And I'm so glad that you're going to do the same in March!
Disneyland Resort discounted military theme park tickets, including the ever popular
Disney Military Promotional Park Hopper Tickets (aka the 'Disney Salute'), are only sold at military ticket sales offices state-side. Prior to the pandemic, military guests visiting from wherever they were stationed in the world could also wait to purchase these tickets upon their arrival to Disneyland, minutes before they planned to go through the turnstiles. But now with the additional requirement of needing to make
Park Pass reservations, it's even more imperative than ever to purchase and plan your trip well in advance.
Thankfully a handful of MWR offices have recognized the issue this creates for those overseas or who don't live near an installation and are now selling tickets over the phone or via email. I do want to warn you that these types of sales can be slow going; it might take a week or two just to make the purchase as the travel office has to verify your MilID through a mix of phone calls and back-and-forth emails. And then there might be another week or two for them to mail the tickets to you, so you'll definitely want to get the ball rolling on this as soon as possible. The two bases that I've heard that are processing over-the-phone and online Disneyland Resort ticket sales are Camp Pendleton and NAS Corpus Christi; both bases have price sheets, hours of operation and contact info listed on their websites. (I Googled the base name + ITT, but also check for info on their Facebook or Instagram pages.)
One thing that you can book directly through Disney, Natalie, would be a
Military promotional rate at a Disneyland Resort Hotel. To inquire about your travel dates or to book a room utilizing this offer you will need to call the Disneyland Resort Hotel phone number, which is (714) 956-Mickey or (714) 956-6425. This office is open between 7:00 AM and 8:00 PM Pacific Time.
I hope that this info helps start what I know is some well-deserved and well-spent leave time, Natalie. And if there is anything else that we can assist you with in planning your Best! Vacation! Ever!, We're All Ears!
