I am a military family and I am trying to plan a trip to disney looking for a good deal and great experience.

Welcome to planDisney, Tremayne! From all of us on the planDisney Panel, we thank you and your family for your service to our nation! Planning a visit to Walt Disney World Resort is part of the magical experience you'll have, and I am happy to help you get started!

Walt Disney World Resort recently announced the renewal of the Disney Military Salute Tickets, which consist of four or five-day tickets, and you have the choice of purchasing tickets with the Park Hopper Option, or the Park Hopper Plus Option. The Park Hopper Option gives you the ability to visit two theme parks in one day (you can begin park hopping at 2 PM). Kindly note that park hopping is subject to the park's capacity limitations. The Park Hopper Plus Option entitles you to a number of visits to Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park, or enjoy a round of mini golf at either miniature golf locations (Disney's Winter Summerland or Disney's Fantasia Gardens Miniature Golf Courses) or a visit to Disney's Oak Trail Golf Course. Keep in mind that for both ticket options, you will need to make theme park pass reservations and that these tickets are subject to certain blackout dates. You can purchase these tickets at your nearest military installation in Alabama, or through Shades of Green.

Tremayne, don't forget to check out the 2023 military rates offered for service members at select Disney resorts! My family and I have appreciated and used this discount over the years, and we're so happy Disney renewed this benefit as well. Check out the Disney Resorts Hotel Collection page, and decide which resort you wish to call home during your visit. Mention the military rate when you book your reservation at the Disney Resorts Hotel Reservations office by calling (407) 939-1936. Keep in mind this rate is also subject to certain blackout dates, and space is limited, so make your reservations as soon as possible!

I hope all of this information helps you with your planning, Tremayne! We thank you again for your family's service, and please visit the planDisney Panel at any time with any other questions you may have!

    Happy Planning!
