Stephanie from CA Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

We are a military family with residency in California because that’s where we grew up before joining, would we be able to purchase California residents tickets even if we don’t currently live in California and are stationed elsewhere?

Welcome to planDisney, Stephanie. I must say a giant THANK YOU to you and your family for their service to our country! As a military spouse myself, I know how many sacrifices your family makes to serve our country. Please know that we are deeply appreciative to you all. It would be my pleasure to help answer your question about purchasing California Resident tickets for Disneyland Resort

As a U.S. Service Member, you can retain California Residency regardless of where the military stations your family. You will need to have a valid government-issued photo ID with your California address listed to purchase California Resident theme park tickets and for admission into the theme parks. You can read more about the requirements for the California Resident Ticket offer on the California Resident Ticket Offer Details page.

I hope this information helps you to enjoy a magical time in The Happiest Place on Earth! Please stop back by planDisney any time we can help answer your vacation questions.
