Hi Kalli! From one military family to another, thank you for your family's service!
Disney Military Salute Tickets need to be activated by the service member (or their spouse). I spoke to a salesperson at the Attractions Tickets Sales Office at
Shades of Green Resort, and what I can tell you is that the service member needs to be eligible for the tickets (meaning, active duty, retired, or 100% disabled, or their spouse) to activate the tickets, and they cannot exceed more than six tickets. If the tickets are discounted Magic Your Way tickets, they are considered "active" and you do not need to stop by Guest Relations, you can go to the entrance booths and proceed to enter the theme park. For both ticket types, you
do need to still make Theme Park Pass Reservations! Check the
Theme Park Reservation Availability calendar and follow the steps to complete this process. While you're at Guest Relations, ask about the military discount for Memory Maker. At $98 for service members (prices are subject to change), it is an offer you can't refuse!
Kalli, I hope you have the most magical visit to Walt Disney World. Enjoy the topiaries, and flowers, and savor all the dining options at
EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival. Fly on a banshee and take in the beauty of Pandora on
Avatar Flight of Passage. Enjoy eating a Mickey Premium Ice Cream Bar while strolling down Main Street, U.S.A. at Magic Kingdom. And have fun exploring a galaxy far, far away at
Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge. There is so much magic to be found, and I hope you have the best visit with your family! Stop by
planDisney at any time with other questions before your visit, I'm always happy to help!
Magic Awaits,
Frances
