can a military family member buy salute tickets for my children and if so, does the family member need to be at the gate for check-in or can we go alone without them? thank you

    Hi Erika!

My husband and I love visiting the Walt Disney World Resort, and we are so thankful that we have been able to take advantage of the amazing offers available to members of the U.S. Military!  As you know, one of these incredible offers is for specially priced theme park tickets!  There are also discounts available on select Walt Disney World Resort Hotel rooms and Memory Maker for members of the U.S. Military, so make sure to check those out!

If you would like to take advantage of the ticket offer, the Eligible Service Member (or spouse) would need to purchase the tickets.  The tickets can be used by the Eligible Service Member's family or friends, so your family member can purchase tickets for your children.  That being said, the Eligible Service Member (or spouse) would need to be using one of the purchased tickets and would also need to be present with a valid U.S. Military ID to be able to activate the tickets at a ticketing window or at any Guest Relations location.  Because of this, you would not be able to activate the tickets unless the Eligible Service Member was also with you.  This just sounds like a great opportunity for a family vacation to me!

Make sure you check out some of the other special offers that you may be able to use during your visit to the Walt Disney World Resort!

Have a Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow!
