Welcome, Laurie to planDisney! Thanks for your question! From all of us on the planDisney Panel, we want to thank you and your family for your service! As a military spouse myself, I appreciate those moments where we united as a family doing things we love, in our case, vacationing at Walt Disney World Resort, making those memories that last a lifetime!
Laurie, since you have already booked a vacation package, I would speak to a Cast Member from the
Disney Resort Hotel Reservations Desk at (407) 939-1936 to add the
military rate. Make sure to purchase your Salute passes from your nearest military installation, or order them from
Shades of Green. You will receive paper vouchers with an "exchange certificate" label on them. You can add the 16-digit number code to your
My Disney Experience account, linking them to members of your traveling party. But keep those certificates! Once you arrive at Walt Disney World, stop by any of the Guest relations offices at the entrances of the 4 theme parks, or Guest Relations at Disney Springs. You will need to verify your military affiliation by showing Military I.D. After that has been done, you won't need to bring your I.D. to the parks the rest of your vacation. Be sure to ask guest relations about the military discount for Memory Maker too!
Laurie, I hope you and your family have the most magical visit in a few months! Happy planning!
Frances
