We are in the midst of planning a family event for a 7 night Eastern Carribean cruise for 15. Husband, self, children and grandchildren. Question: Is an event for the kids after formal night dinner so grown ups can have grown up time, too?

    Hi Michelle!
I have some great news for you....there are events planned for the kiddos all day long!  Children ages 3-17 can be involved in youth programming as much as you like.  The clubs usually open around 9:00am and stay open until midnight (even later for the tweens & teens).  Your daily cruise newsletter, The Personal Navigator, will keep you up-to-date on all the cruise events and activities each day of your sailing.  The youth counselors do an amazing job of keeping the youngest cruisers busy and having fun!  My kids love the Oceaneer Club and Lab, and I have to beg them to leave at times!
If you have sailors younger than three, It's a Small World Nursery is the place they can go so the adults in your group can enjoy some of the adult-only areas and activities onboard.  There is a nominal fee for the nursery and hours can be reserved online (www.DisneyCruise.com) or once you are onboard.
Thanks again for visiting the Moms Panel!  Please let me know what other questions you may have about your Caribbean adventure!
    Have a magical day!
