In mid-June, are there better days of the week to visit the Water Parks for less crazy crowds? Also, will the crowds be too great to arrive at the water park mid-day? We are arriving June 19, leaving on the 27th. Thank you for any tips you can share!

    Dear Cherie,

Thank you so much for stopping by to visit us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your great question about planning ahead for your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation!

My family absolutely loves Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park and Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park, and we don't miss a chance to visit when we can. Both water parks are pretty consistently busy during the summer months when children are out of school, but there are typically slightly lower crowds on weekdays.

I actually recommend arriving before park opening to the water parks, if you can, and trying the water slides and tubes first thing before the crowds start to increase. Then, you can spend the busier hours of the day in the wave pool or lazy river, for example. You can definitely arrive midday but you won't get the benefit of those lower earlier crowds.

Hope that helps with your magical planning!
