    The Mickeys not so scary halloween party will the park be open rides,etc. or is it just trick or treating and characters?

    During the special parties at the Magic Kingdom (Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party and Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party), there are special events going on in the park in addition to most of the regular park activities. The vast majority of the rides will be open, there will be character greeting areas, parades, fireworks, and so on. Even if you didn't want to participate in any of the party-specific events, MNSSHP is a great deal because you can often get onto some of the most popular rides in the park with minimal wait times.
