Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. As
The Nightmare Before Christmas reminds us, "
This is Halloween!" It's a night full of wonder, magic, and some not-so-spooky fun!
If you're a
Disney Resorts Collection Hotel guest, you don't need to worry about transportation to
Magic Kingdom Park from
Disney Springs for the party, even if you're planning to leave at 8 p.m. The party goes until midnight, so you won't be the only one traveling to the park at that time from
Disney Springs. Typically,
Disney transportation to and from the theme parks continues until approximately one hour after the parks close, so you'll have plenty of time to get where you're going and back to your resort afterward, leaving you free to enjoy the evening. As the residents of Halloween Town will tell you, "life's no fun without a good scare!"
Now, here's the important part of your planning: be sure to allow enough time to travel to Magic Kingdom Park and make your way through the security screening process before entering. While Disney transportation continues operating throughout the party, giving yourself extra time helps ensure you don't miss any of the Halloween fun. There's so much to do at the party, and I want you to be able to maximize your time and get the most out of it!
At the party, there's trick-or-treating, exclusive character meet-and-greets, and, of course, typically shorter wait times at the attractions. Plus, you've got the incredible entertainment, my favorite of which is the
Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular. That one has various showtimes throughout the night. In years past, it has been offered at 12 a.m., which is my favorite time to view it because it's a great way to end an amazing evening! Plus, it extends the party just a little bit longer. But don't worry, you won't have to "take a chance and roll the dice!" as Oogie Boogie might make you do. Simply check the party guide when you arrive or the
