Welcome, Maryanne!
Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party is one of my favorite special events of the year at the Walt Disney World Resort! My family goes all out for Halloween, so this party is a must-do when we visit the parks in the fall!
Last year, I went with a friend of mine and we ordered matching Disney Halloween-themed shirts from a seller on Etsy. They were so cute and so very "us"! There were all sorts of other guests with Halloween-themed shirts, some in everyday wear, and lots in full costumes, so you'll see a bit of it all! The year before that, my whole family and I enjoyed the party together and we dressed up as Disney emoji! I made them out of felt and stuffing and copied the exact faces by looking at pictures of the emoji themselves. It was such a hit! Plus, it was super comfortable and the pillow-like costumes that hung over our necks doubled as pillows for the kids to rest their heads on while we waited for the late night fireworks to begin!
I save cute Disney costume ideas on Pinterest, so that's a great place for ideas. Alternately, you can Google some good ideas. There are all sorts of super creative folks out there who come up with amazing Disney costumes and share their ideas, so imitate the best if you are stuck coming up with your own! Just be sure to stick within the
costume guidelines and you'll be all set, Maryanne! You also might check out previous posts on the Disney Parks Blog, like this one about

Have fun crafting and enjoy a spook-tacular trip this fall!
