Hey there, Rebecca! I love to talk about the Christmas season at
Walt Disney World. The trees, the lights, the decorations - it's the most wonderful time of the year.
Speaking from experience, you can see and do so much at the
Magic Kingdom theme park during
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, I've always used that as our "Magic Kingdom Day" when we go. Even with the holiday attractions that you won't want to miss during the party, many of the wait times for attractions are really such that my kids have been able to ride the same attraction two or three times in a row in less than half an hour.
If you won't have an opportunity to see some of the attractions that may not be operating during the party, and those are can't miss things on your list, then it might be worth spending the early part of the day there as well, just don't forget to rest up the night before. It can be a really long day to stay until the party is over if you've been at the park from early on.
While you're there, make sure to look for
Disney's PhotoPass Service. Photographers will be throughout the park to take magical holiday photos of you and your family. If you've purchased
Memory Maker, you can download the photos to keep these treasured holiday memories.
Have a wonderful time, Rebecca!
