Mickey's Very Merry Christmas party will be in Nov. when we are going to WDW. Since one has to pick the exact day they want party tickets for I am concerned about bad weather cancelling the parade and fireworks. Please help relieve my concerns! Thanks!

    Colleen,

The weather is one of the few things that even Disney can't control! You are right, there is always that chance that it could rain that night. Nothing much they can do about that.

But you should know that the Orlando rainy season really ends in mid-September. So you are pretty far away from a time where it frequently messes things up. In fact November, which averages less than 2 inches of monthly rainfall, is the second driest month in Orlando (after February). So the odds are in you favor that you will stay dry.

Now as to cold, that is a different story. The average lows are under 60 degrees, so you really need to prepare for cooler temperatures. But I think that actually helps sets the mood for a Christmas-themed party!

So rest assured that the odds are in your favor, and that regardless you will have a great time!

    Have a magical vacation!
