Hi, Nicole!
The thought of
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party brings a huge smile to my face! I have visions of Cinderella Castle sparkling, decadent holiday treats, my favorite Disney Pals in their adorable festive attire, a glistening snowfall on Main Street, U.S.A. and the merriest parade in all the land, Mickey's Once Upon A Christmastime Parade! I've been fortunate enough to attend several parties over the years and can't wait to see what Disney has in store for this season's celebration.
The party dates have been set, and I've been watching the
Disney Parks Blog for information on purchasing the special event tickets for this year. Since this is a special ticketed event, a separate ticket will need to be purchased, but does not need to be accompanied by a theme park ticket. In the past, the party hours have been from 7:00 p.m. until 12:00 a.m. with early admission beginning around 4:00 p.m. We like to enjoy a relaxing resort day before the party and head over to Magic Kingdom after 3:30 p.m. Since "Very Merry" Guests are allowed in during regular parks hours, bracelets are given out so Cast Members are able to tell who can stay past the 7:00 p.m. park closing.
When you arrive at Magic Kingdom, be sure to pick up a Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party brochure. It is a great resource to help you locate the complimentary holiday treats around the park (think warm cocoa and cookies!), know what dining and attractions are available and where to purchase special themed merchandise. Also included is a description and time guide for all the jolly entertainment that is sure to put you in the holiday spirit!
Have the merriest time!
Nancy
