Hello Melinda,
I absolutely love traveling to The Happiest Place on Earth during the Holidays! It is my favorite time of year to visit. The parks have their festive overlay, the Disney Characters are dressed in their winter best, and the seasonal treats are so tasty-you're going to love it!
The Disneyland Resort has not offered a Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party like at Magic Kingdom Park. At the Disneyland Resort, Guests can celebrate all season long with no extra ticket required.
You won't want to miss attractions that have some Holiday spice, such as Haunted Mansion Holiday and "it's a small world" Holiday. The entertainment this time of year is breath-taking! We love to watch "A Christmas Fantasy" Parade, Sleeping Beauty's Winter Castle, and then catch the gorgeous "Believe in Holiday Magic" fireworks spectacular. Be sure to stick around later in the evening because it "snows" nightly on Main Street, U.S.A.!
Don't forget there's magic over at Disney California Adventure Park too. Cars Land is one of my favorites to take in all the Holiday decor slowly-it is Tow-rrific! You will also want to see World of Color “Winter Dreams," plus you get to sing-along with Olaf.
The Disneyland Resort really is The Merriest Place on Earth to be at during this time year! Now announcements for this years Holidays at the Disneyland Resort have not been made just yet, so be sure to check back on the Disneyland website when it gets closer to get the details for this years celebrations.
