How does Mickey's Christmas Party really differ from the everyday events that take place in Magic Kingdom during the Christmas season? Are there really events during the party that don't take place during the day, other than the cookies and hot chocolate?

    Hi Laurie!

There are several events that happen on the night of the party that do not happen on regular days at the Magic Kingdom.  Yes, there are free hot chocolate and cookie stations during the party for guests to enjoy. There is also a different parade and fireworks performance that was created specifically for the party.  It is only performed on the night of the party.  Santa also attends the party for guests to meet and have a photo with.  There are many Christmas dance parties around the park for guests to attend.  There is also a special holiday performance at the castle called Celebrate the Season for guests to enjoy.  Also,  there is snow falling on Main Street U.S.A.

Mickey's Very Merry Christmas party is one of my families favourite special events at Disney.  If you plan on being at Disney during the time of this party I would highly recommend it to you and your family.
