Hi Barbara,
The holidays are the perfect time to visit Disney World! The magic is all around with themed snacks, fun events, and the most beautiful decorations ever. One of those premier events is
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. This event is the perfect way to kick off the holidays with the best parade of the year featuring Santa Claus and culminating with snow on Main Street. There is truly nothing more special.
Tickets for special events are priced based on the date and fluctuate depending on demand. Currently, all tickets are sold out for this event for the rest of the year, but I recommend continuing to check online if you are interested in attending during your visit. Sometimes a few tickets may pop up. You can also call the
New Tickets line and see if they have any other options for you. Sometimes, last-minute availability will pop up, but I would not plan on it. Luckily there are some other great events happening where you can celebrate the holidays on your upcoming visit.
If you are looking for a great event to celebrate the holiday season, the
EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays is my family's favorite holiday event. It is included in the price of your theme park tickets and is a festive journey through the holidays all over the world with epic food booths, storytellers, and the Candlelight Processional. The Candlelight Processional is a not-to-be-missed event that tells the story of Christmas with a 50-piece orchestra, choir, and celebrity narrator. You can
reserve a dining package with reserved seating for this event and some delicious food.
At Disney's Hollywood Studios,
Jollywood Nights is in full swing, and there are still some tickets available for this event. This event is a blast because people get all dressed up for the holidays to attend, there are fabulous character meet and greets, and festive-themed entertainment throughout the theme park.
Happy Planning,
Jenna
