Hi there, Sadie. Thanks for stopping by planDisney to ask another question! We love repeat customers.
I have always wanted to try tie-dyeing at a
Disney Resorts Collection Hotel. There are so many unique activities at the resorts and in the past, I haven't made time to check them out...which is a shame because so many of these activities result in unique souvenirs! In fact, when I was last at the resort, there was a painting class I was interested in at
Disney's Beach Club Resort that I made a note of for next time. But my friend
Amy C. and I
did make time for roasting marshmallows. And even though they aren't souvenirs to take home, it's certainly a fun memory and my stomach thanked me!
Tie-dyeing options vary from resort to resort and depend on what is in stock and available. I would recommend visiting the
Front Desk when you arrive at the resort and inquiring about the activities that are offered at your hotel. You can also ask about the sizing and options available if tie-dyeing is offered. Typically, for T-shirts, the smallest size is a youth small. However, there have been times when onesies were available at certain resorts, but this is not guaranteed. While it is unlikely that you'd be able to tie-dye your own article of clothing, it doesn't hurt to ask. I would be prepared to pay the full price for the experience if they allow you to do this.
This activity is such a great one for a resort day in the middle of your vacation. Laying by the pool, eating at the quick-service or table-service restaurant (if available) at your hotel, watching Movies Under the Stars, and just generally relaxing in the middle of a busy vacation can go a long way to recharge and refuel you for the rest of the vacation. A trip to the
Walt Disney World Resort doesn't have to be hectic if you don't want it to be. If you make time for downtime, it can be a downright relaxing, leisurely-paced affair if you want it to be!
Sadie,
please don't hesitate to reach out again if you have any other questions. I am here to help!
The way to get started is to quit talking and begin doing,
