    We are going to Mickey Spooktacular in October. My son wants to be Batman or Spider-Man for Halloween, can he wear the traditional mask that goes with either of these costumes?

    Hello Helen,

    Dressing up for Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is a MUST! Super Heroes are always welcome to this Special Event and mask are allowed as long as the eyes are visible and vision is not obstructed. Ummmmm, Spiderman and Batman without their masks? That is unheard of!

    Disney Parks Moms Panelist Jane received some wonderful recommendations after speaking to a Cast Member about costume guidelines when planning for Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party:

    * Costume should be child-friendly
    * Costumes should not be obstructive, offensive or violent
    * Costumes should not drag on the ground
    * No sharp objects, pointed objects or weapons that could be easily mistaken for an actual weapon
    * Mask may be worn, but they must not obstruct vision and eyes must be visible at all times

    Enjoy your spooktacular evening and if I can be of any further pixie dusted assistance feel free to ask.

Meet the Panelist: Amy, Virginia

I am a Dreamer who has always believed dreams are meant to be the path to your future. Walt Disney, I believe, felt the same way, "All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them." Disney has always been proof that endless imagination and the passion to make them come to fruition is possible. I will never be to old for Disney, it is home to all of us Dreamers.
