How can i get my mickey mouse glasshouse balloon deflated to take home at Disneyland ?.

Hi Maria! Welcome back to planDisney.

The iconic Mickey Mouse "glasshouse" balloons make my heart so happy. Whether you're purchasing one to tie to your stroller or just making some magic for yourself or a loved one, it's always lovely to see those colorful Mickey heads bobbing in the sky in the Disney Parks.

At this time, I'm not aware of a way to deflate these balloons for transport from Disneyland Resort. I would recommend asking a Cast Member when you purchase the balloon if they have any suggestions. I have heard that some Guests carefully untie the balloon to deflate it, but I can't guarantee that will work, so try that at your own risk!

On my most recent visit, a housekeeper at our resort hotel gifted a balloon to my son and it was such special pixie dust. Another Guest had left theirs in their room, and the housekeeper told us they always pass them along to the first Mouseketeer they encounter. How fun! So, you always have the option of gifting your balloon to another family on your way out of the theme park on your last day.

I have two more sprinkles of balloon magic for you, Maria. Have you seen this wonderful Disney Parks Blog story about the Balloon Room in Magic Kingdom Park? The story and accompanying photo are so dreamy. I also have to share this balloon answer from my pal Andres, which includes a heartwarming story about the power of Disney balloons.

Thanks for stopping by planDisney, Maria! I'm sending wishes that you find the perfect way to get your balloon home to extend the magic.

Wishing you a wonderful Disney day,
    Robyn
