Can you get a Mickey apple with a snack credit?

Hi there, Kelly! We're so glad you stopped by the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

I'll be the first to admit that I love to binge on snacks while at Walt Disney World Resort, but none are as adorable as the iconic Mickey Apple! One of the things that I must do on every trip to "The House of the Mouse," is to visit the Main Street Confectionery in Magic Kingdom Park to see all the new variations.  So far, my favorite has been the Apple Pie Caramel Apple, which was coated in caramel, white chocolate, cinnamon-sugar, and graham cracker crumbs. You have no idea how heavy my carry on bag is when I make promises to family and friends to bring these treats home!

Besides the Main Street Confectionery, you can buy the apples at several places on property, including Big Top Treats, Goofy's Candy Company, and Disney's Candy Cauldron. Karamell-Küche in Epcot, German for "caramel kitchen," also has some delicious apple options covered in delectable Werther's caramel (but without the Mouse Ears). All of these locations have a simple caramel version, either with or without peanuts, that is snack credit eligible on the Disney Dining Plan. The Specialty Character Apples are a little more expensive and therefore are not included on the Disney Dining Plan.

Here's a Moms Panel tip: If you cannot wait and want to eat your treat right away, the Cast Members will happily cut your apple for you. This makes it much easier to eat and share on the go!

I hope your trip is apple-solutely magical, Kelly! If there's anything else we can do for you, remember we're all ears!

I'm that mom who always has her ears perked at PTO meetings, in the grocery store aisle, or at my monthly Bunco club for an opportunity to give someone a planning tip to help make their vacation even more magical.
