Hello,  we are from Mexico and we'll stay at Disney the next week. I bought the dinner plan, but someone told me that I have to make a reservation to take the table service is that correct ?

Reservations are not required for the WDW table service restaurants. They are, however, strongly recommended. Some of the restaurants at Disney World are extremely popular. These include the character dining experiences (Chef Mickey's, Cinderella's Royal Table), many of the gourmet signature restaurants (California Grill, Jiko) and many of the specially themed dining experiences (Sci-Fi Dine-In, Whispering Canyon Cafe). These restaurants are so packed with guests with reservations that you may find a wait of more than an hour for a walk-up, or even that it is impossible to eat there at all. You can make reservations for all Disney table service restaurants by calling 407-939-3463.

If you don't make reservations, you won't starve. There are some places that generally have some availability for walk-ups. An example of this would be Restaurant Marrakesh in the Morocco pavilion at Epcot. If you need suggestions on where to eat, just stop by the guest relations office at one of the theme parks and they will help you find a restaurant with availability.

    Have a great trip!
