Is the mexican food in Mexico athintic?? We are form Texas and our children only Tex-Mex. We just wnt to make sure we know what we are pying for!!

    Jessica,

The family that established the San Angel Inn Restaurante at the Mexico Pavilion in the Epcot World Showcase is a well known and established restauranteur family from Mexico City. The food is certainly more 'authentic' than most of the tex-mex we get in the states, though it has some americanized influence too. The mole sauce is amazing, and the ambiance is very romantic, if a bit campy with the attraction decor that runs along one wall. I really enjoy this restaurant, and I think you will too.

The Cantina out on the walkway has more traditional tex-mex fare, which I like too. It is a great venue for some afternoon snacks to share, and the margarita bar is not too bad either!

    Have a delicious vacation!
