Ahoy, Paula!
I always love helping a fellow Georgia Peach with cruise plans, so welcome back aboard! The most magical time of the yEAR is quickly approaching, and you'll be casting off to celebrate on a
Very Merrytime Cruise with Mickey very soon. I know how excited you must be to board the
Disney Dream to "sea" the ship decked out from stem and stern and experience all the holiday festivities the Cast & Crew has planned on this extra-special sailing.
Paula, I'm glad you reached out with this question because, during last year's Very Merrytime sailings, Guests decorated Gingerbread cookies rather than Gingerbread houses. So instead of just admiring your creativity, you'll be able to enjoy it as a delicious snack as well! Yum! There is no need to sign-up for the cookie decorating as it will be listed in the Personal Navigator and on the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app for cruises of all lengths. My crew also has a holiday sailing planned for December, and this is on our to-do list since we've only experienced the Gingerbread houses on past sailings. I do plan to bring a few additional items to use because my Mouseketeers like to go all out when we decorate holiday treats. If you decide you might want some to bring a few extras along be sure they are pre-packaged and sealed before you board.
The countdown is on, Paula! You'll be enjoying this holiday cruise before you know it, including magical, holiday touches on
Disney Castaway Cay! This is my favorite port to visit any time of the yEAR, but SEAing it all jazzed up for the SEAson is quite unique. You'll love all the whimsical holiday details found around this tropical paradise!
Thank you again for visiting, and please don't hesitate to reach back out with additional questions!
Have a "Very Merrytime" Christmas!
Nancy
