Hello, I have a Merrytime cruise booked later this year. From what I read, passengers have to take a Covid test 2 days prior to their sail date. What happens if someone in our travel party tests positive for Covid ? Are you able to reschedule?

    Ahoy, Jennifer!

Okay, so first, we are going to do what my kids are always telling me to do - manifest what you want to see. In this case, we are going to manifest a practically perfect Very Merrytime Cruise.

When you sail on Disney Cruise Line, you do have to take a test for Covid-19 within 2 days of your embarkation date - your sail date. Since we are manifesting only good things, we will hope you are all negative and good to board for your maritime merriment. If, however, someone does test positive, not to worry. Disney Cruise Line offers a flexible refund policy for guests who experience a Covid-related health concern within 14 days of sailing. You will be able to cancel your cruise without penalty, or you can apply what you've paid for this cruise toward a future sailing.

This policy covers not only the person who tests positive but everyone in their stateroom, as well as guests traveling with them. You'll just need to reach out to Disney Cruise Line via phone or email to let them know you've hit a patch of rough seas on your way to your sailing.

Jennifer, I am keeping my fingers crossed and sending you some virtual pixie dust that you are holiday cheering and Santa spotting on your Very Merrytime Cruise!
