We have Very Merry Christmas party tickets for December 16th. We mistakenly made a 3:50 Cinderellas Royal Table reservation for that day at 3:50. Will they hold it til we get into the park at 4pm for the party or do we need to cancel?

    Season's Greetings, Tammie!

I'm so excited to welcome you to planDisney! How wonderful that you'll be visiting the Most Magical Place on Earth during the most MERRIEST time of the year...the holiday season! This time of the year makes Disney extra special, with festive decorations, twinkling lights, and holiday cheer around every corner. Everywhere you turn, there's something fun to see or do, from seasonal shows and special treats to unique entertainment and surprises throughout the parks. It's honestly one of my favorite times of the year to visit, and I just know you're going to have such an incredible time soaking up all the magic and joy that this season brings!

I absolutely love that you have tickets to attend Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party! I'm such a big fan of Disney's special ticketed events. They're always such a unique experience that goes beyond a regular park day. There's something so magical about the extra touches, like "snow" falling on Main Street, U.S.A., the festive holiday music, and Mickey's Once Upon a Christmastime Parade. And let's not forget the complimentary cookies and hot cocoa...it's such a cozy, sweet way to enjoy the holiday spirit! These are the kinds of experiences that really make the season at Disney feel unforgettable!

To answer your question, Disney will generally hold a dining reservation for up to 15 minutes past your scheduled time. After that, they may reallocate the table to other Guests. Since you won't be able to enter Magic Kingdom until 4:00 PM and your reservation at Cinderella's Royal Table is at 3:50 PM, that would be cutting it really close. You could take the chance, but there's no guarantee you'd be seated. For a stress-free experience, I'd recommend checking multiple times per day to see if you can modify your reservation to 4:00 PM or later.

Tammie, I hope you have the very best vacation and an amazing time at Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party! If any other questions come up while you're finalizing your plans, be sure to swing by planDisney...we're always happy to help!

    Merry Wishes,
