Is the Merriest Nites event coming back to Disneyland in 2023?

    Greetings, Dulciana!

Welcome to planDisney and we're happy that you stopped by. I saw your question and immediately thought "There's someone after my own heart!" I was so excited when Merriest Nites was announced back in 2021 and I immediately purchased tickets. My wife and I were able to attend and we had a fantastic time! The highlight of the evening was seeing the Muppets travel down Main Street, U.S.A. in the classic double decker bus, singing Carols along the way!

Merriest Nites unfortunately did not make a return for the following year. I'm afraid that I don't have any inside knowledge about what's to come, but you can follow the Disney Parks Blog for any announcements on upcoming events. The Holiday Season lineup has already been announced for fall 2023 but Merriest Nites is not among the listings.

There's still plenty happening at the Disneyland Resort over the Holidays! It's one of the most beautifully decorated times of the year and some of the yummiest and most festive snacks and treats are offered during this time at the Festival of Holidays. If you get a chance to try a Mickey Gingerbread Cookie, you MUST try it! It is one of the most delicious snacks I've ever tasted!

Dulciana, I wish I had a more definitive answer for you, but you never know what the Disney Imagineers are creating next for us! Regardless, it's always a pleasant surprise when something new is announced! If you have any more questions for us, please feel free to write again anytime!

Wishing You a Great, Big, Beautiful Tomorrow!

Meet the Panelist: Al, California

Ahoy there from the heart of Steinbeck Country in central California! I've been visiting the Disneyland Resort since childhood and fell in love with the sense of absolute immersion that the Imagineers have achieved. My favorite attraction is Pirates of the Caribbean because where else can you go from a California day to an evening boat ride in the bayou with "salty old pirates"? I'm a veterinarian and an all-around Disney geek and enthusiast. I'd love to help you plan your next Disneyland trip! Learn More About Al
