Royal Greetings, Kristin, and welcome to planDisney!
I was absolutely delighted to see your question because Merida and Disney's
Brave hold such a cherished place in my heart. This was the very first film my oldest son, now 15 years old, saw in a movie theater. Every time I think of Brave, I'm instantly transported back to that magical moment when I watched his little face light up with wonder as Merida's story unfolded on the big screen.
At this time, Merida does not have a designated meet-and-greet location at Disney World. However, there are a couple of magical ways you might catch a glimpse of her during your visit!
Merida often makes appearances at
Cinderella's Royal Table in Magic Kingdom. This enchanting table-service
dining experience, set inside the iconic Cinderella Castle, offers the chance to meet several Disney Princesses. Keep in mind that
reservations are required for this popular dining experience, so be sure to make yours 60 days before your visit.
Another opportunity to see Merida is during the
Disney Adventure Friends Cavalcade, a lively procession that travels right down Main Street, U.S.A. The cavalcade takes place at 10:30 AM and 11:45 AM, so plan to grab your favorite Mickey-shaped snack and a good viewing spot along that route.
I'll continue to wish upon a star that Merida makes her way back to a dedicated meet-and-greet spot soon. In the meantime, keep an eye on your
My Disney Experience app for the most up-to-date information on available character greetings.
Kristen, I'd like to leave you with one of my favorite quotes from Merida: "
Our fate lives within us, you only have to be brave enough to see it."
Magical Wishes,
Kami
