    Is Merida still available for meet and greets in 2019? We will be there from 9/16-9/19.

    Thanks for stopping by the Royal Kingdom of the Disney Parks Moms Panel! You have picked a fabulous time of year to visit Walt Disney World Resort. The weather is perfect, the crowds are manageable (well, with the opening of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge that might be debatable!), and the Cast Members are always happy to delight.

    You will be happy to hear that Merida, Princess of DunBroch continues to greet her Royal Guests in a tartan-clad setting at Fairytale Garden in Magic Kingdom Park. If you are Brave enough, you might even get to practice your archery skills with this determined Princess. 

    We are major fans of Princess Merida and her entire Clan, and just like her, my family wears our Clan tartan with pride! (Even one of my twins and our dog have the same names as two of her triplet brothers!) Because of our Scottish connection, we make sure to watch the entire family in the Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade. It’s super popular, so grab a snack on your way out of The Highlands and find a viewing spot a good half hour before the parade starts. Check the Times Guide or the My Disney Experience app for up to the minute entertainment times.
