My family and I had the opportunity to experience
Storybook Dining at Artist Point with Snow White just a few weeks ago, and it was wonderful! You will love the atmosphere and attention to detail that went into converting Artist Point at
Disney's Wilderness Lodge to the newest Character dining experience at
Walt Disney World Resort. The menu is so sophisticated and creative, too! I have noticed at least one change since Snow White began dining with Guests a few months ago, and it looks like that change was made based on seasonal fruits and vegetables. Since the Walt Disney World Resort chefs want to use the freshest ingredients in their signature dishes, I do think you can expect to see minimal rotation in the options offered during the Storybook Dining experience throughout the year.
No matter what’s on the menu, though, I think you’ll have an excellent time at Artist Point. Each member of your party will enjoy a selection of shared appetizers and dessert, but everyone will be able to choose his or her own entree. When we were there in mid-April, there were four entrees available on the children’s menu (including two vegetarian options) and six entrees on the adult menu. Additionally, there are vegan and vegetarian options not listed on the main menu, but which are a part of the chef’s readily-available ingredients. There’s also a wide range of cocktails, wines, beers and non-alcoholic specialty drinks available, too. (My daughter loved the “Transformation Potion.”) If you’re using a
Dining Plan, this experience counts as one Table Service Meal for each Guest.
Friends such as Snow White, Grumpy and Dopey will stop by your table as you dine, and you’ll be able to get up at your leisure to meet the Queen (which is one of the greatest Character interactions I’ve ever had at Walt Disney World Resort). You’ll use your own camera for Snow White and the Dwarfs, but there is a Disney
PhotoPass Photographer with the Queen. Make sure you have your camera ready for dessert, too. “The Hunter’s Gift to the Queen” is definitely Instagram-worthy!
Check the
online menu before you go to see which seasonal options might be available during your visit. No matter what’s on deck, though, I think you’ll enjoy the experience.
