You mentioned that you would be trying the new fireworks/dessert reception at MK? How was it? I already booked and it's a complete surprise to the rest on my party, just curious if you enjoyed. Who can go wrong with that combo right? 7 days and counting!

    Hi Melissa,

What a great surprise that will be for your family. While recently at Disney World, I did take the time to check out the Fireworks Dessert Party. While we were short on time and did not participate in the actual party, we made a point of checking out the location and  dessert selections.

The party is held at the terrace right next to the Tomorrowland Noodle Station, which is near the entrance to Tomorrowland. The location is perfect as it gives you a terrific view of Tinkerbell as well as the Wishes fireworks show. I especially love this location as it is far enough from guest pathways so you do not need to worry about guests stopping directly in front of you and blocking your view at the last minute.

There was a great selection of fruits and sweets and it all looked scrumptious. I have spoke with friends who did experience the party on its first night and were extremely happy with the entire experience. I think it is the perfect way to end a magical day at Magic Kingdom and I do not think your family will be disappointed in your surprise. Enjoy!
