So you mentioned the pools...I know that Stormalong Bay at the Yacht/Beach Clubs is considered THE pool. What other resort pools are really great?

One of the great equalizers about Disney resorts is that they pretty much all have great pools. No doubt that Stormalong Bay is the most popular pool with visitors, but many of the others are pretty great, all the way down to the ones at the Value Resorts.

In the Deluxe resorts there are several standouts. For scenic beauty, there is the one at Wilderness Lodge, that is 'fed' by a rocky stream. Polynesian has a great volcano with a slide that really wows the kids.

For Moderates, there is the newly refurbished Caribbean Beach pool, ideal for any budding pirate. The Mayan pyramid at Coronado Springs is pretty cool too.

And in Value resorts, the movie and music pools are particularly fun.

Bottom line is that all the resorts have a decent pool. I would suggest that with the exception of going to the Yacht or Beach Clubs for the benefit of using Stormalong Bay, you are probably going to be OK wherever you go, so let some other resort feature be the deciding factor on where you stay.
