Hi there Carol,
Thanks for stopping back in to see me at planDisney. You have asked about one of my favorite options at
Walt Disney World Resort.
Memory Maker is an add on option that allows you to gather an unlimited number of pictures that had been taken through Disney's PhotoPass system and download those photos directly to your phone or computer.
If you are like me, I always hated that our family photos were always missing someone, as we took turns playing photographer. The great news is that never happens on a Disney vacation as PhotoPass photographers are located throughout the theme parks, water parks and Disney Springs just waiting to help you capture that perfect family photo - with your whole family in it together. Once photos are taken, they are uploaded to your
My Disney Experience account and are available to view in the "My Photos" option. If you are using the basic Disney PhotoPass option, you will need to individually purchase any photos you wish to keep. However, the Memory Maker option allows you to download and keep all your photos for one set price.
While the Memory Maker may be seen as costly, I definitely think it is worth the additional price in most cases. If you love photos as much as I do, and plan on taking plenty of them to capture these magical memories, this is perfect for you. The Memory Maker is perfect if you are staying for a number of days as there will be plenty of chances to capture the good times. And, if you are traveling with family or friends that you do not always get to see, this is ideal to capture all those special moments. There is a
discounted price should you choose to purchase the Memory Maker in advance. It is important to know that any photos taken within 3 days of your purchase would not be included, so you will want to be sure to select the advance option more than 3 days before the start of your vacation.
I hope this information is helpful and will help you capture all those wonderful smiles on your next trip. If I can help with any additional questions, please stop back and
see me.
Hope to see ya real soon,
Margaret
