    How does the memory maker work if you don't have magic bands? This will be our first trip as a family, and my first trip since 2009, so, none of the fancy tech stuff was around back then.

    Hi Jessica! Welcome to planDisney! Oh boy! I am so excited that you are returning for another visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth! I am glad you have such a memorable visit in 2009 and that you want to relive those magical moments again! That magic is the reason why my family and I return to Walt Disney World Resort for our family vacations. No other place in the world gives you those feelings and moments!

    Jessica, a lot has changed since 2009, but don't worry, I'll be your guide! Have you downloaded the My Disney Experience app yet? It is a one-stop-shop for all your needs regarding your vacation! You will be able to access reservation links, open your resort room door, order tickets, make park reservation passes, and so much more! Make sure you have created a Disney account before downloading! Once it is on your smartphone, you can pull up the tab next to the magnifying glass (on the bottom right) and a menu will appear. Scroll down to the "photos" icon, and click. You will be given a card from a Cast Member prior to pictures, and you can link that card to your My Disney Experience app, and there is also a Photopass QR code that is attached to your account that the Cast Member can scan your photos to. You will be able to download photos right away (make sure you have purchased Memory Maker for this to work!) You will have up to 45 days from when the photo was taken to download to your device!
