I got the memory maker as part of my package deal. I don’t plan on getting a magic band and I saw I could use a photo pass card at the location to get our photos. How can I get one of these cards?

Welcome to planDisney, Liz!  Thanks for stopping by with your question.

I'm glad to hear you purchased Memory Maker for your upcoming vacation.  Memory Maker is a great way to be able to download all your Disney PhotoPass photos from your vacation for one price.  This includes ride and attraction photos as well as photos captured with a Disney PhotoPass photographer.

While you can request a Disney PhotoPass card from any photographer, you won't necessarily need one -- there are many ways to link your Disney PhotoPass photos to your My Disney Experience account.  If you don't plan on getting a MagicBand, you can have a photographer scan the ticket card or Disney MagicMobile pass that you'll be using for theme park admission.  Another way to link your photos is by having the photographer scan a code in the My Disney Experience mobile app.  Use the menu button in the lower right corner of the home screen to select "Photos", then "Link Photos" at the top of the page.  Choose "Show PhotoPassCode" to generate a QR code.

When riding an attraction that offers on-ride photos, your photos will "automagically" link to your account via a MagicBand or Disney MagicMobile pass.  Make sure you are signed in to your My Disney Experience account and have enabled Bluetooth on your mobile device prior to riding the attraction.  You'll notice signage in the queues for these attractions with instructions on how to adjust your phone settings.  Some, but not all, attractions with on-ride photos offer a photo preview area where you can scan your ticket card, band, or pass to link your photos to your account.

To get the most out of your Memory Maker purchase, be sure to stop wherever you see a Disney PhotoPass photographer to capture your magical vacation memories.  You can even use the My Disney Experience app to find Disney PhotoPass locations.  Use the location icon at the bottom of the home screen to pull up a map.  The default view is Wait Times at Magic Kingdom Park.  Use the drop-down menu at the top of the screen to select "PhotoPass" and the filter to change the location.  Clicking on a PhotoPass icon on the map will bring up details of that location, and can help you find Super Zoom Magic Shots and other special photo opportunities.

I hope that helps!  Liz, if you have any additional questions, please feel free to stop by planDisney again anytime.  Have a wonderful vacation!
