I am a member of DVC and will be staying at The Animal Village-Kidani in a 4 person deluxe studio for 14 days next May. Our daughter was thinking of coming down and spending three or four days with us. Is there going to be an extra cost for this?

    Hi Michael,

Welcome home! I hope you enjoying staying at the Animal Kingdom Lodge. It is truly a unique experience for guests. Two of my favorite restaurants are at this property-Jiko, The Cooking Place and Boma.

As long as you are not going over the room capacity, your daughter will be fine staying with you for the few days she can. You will need to add her to the reservation so she can have a room key as well as other benefits of staying on property such having Extra Magic Hours flexibilty.

One thing to be careful about is about your tickets and dining plans. If you purchase your tickets with your reservation, your daughter will need to have the same ticketing. This means if you purchase a length of stay ticket for 14 days your daughter will need one as well. In addition, if you add the dining plan, she will need to add it as well.

You could purchase your tickets separately which would allow you to purchase for example a 10 day park hopper and your daughter a four day park hopper.

    Wishing you a magical vacation!
