We are meeting up with family that will be staying at an off site property, would they be able to join us at the All-Star Movie hotel pool for an afternoon?

    Hi Robyn!

Oh my goodness, your visit is tomorrow! You must be getting so excited, and hopefully packed! Disney's All Star Movies is a great choice for families, and when my boys were little they loved our stay here in the Toy Story area of the resort. I am just a grown-up kid, one who grew up on classic Disney movies, so I loved the theming as well!

The pool at Disney’s All Star Movies is restricted to Guests who are staying at that resort, and Members of Disney Vacation Club staying at other Walt Disney World Resort hotels. Unfortunately, your off-site guests would not be able to join you at the pool for the day. They could, however, join you for a meal at the World Premier Food Court, a drink at Silver Screen Spirits Pool Bar, some time in the Reel Fun Arcade, or a walk around the resort. There are some amazing photo opportunities at this resort, and we have great memories of our stay here. In the Toy Story section, there is an RC Car from the movie that kids can actually sit in, and in the 101 Dalmatians area there is a TV set up for the puppies to watch, and you can get behind the screen to pretend you are on the TV!

Another option would be to meet your friends at Disney Springs. There is free parking for your off-site friends to park there, you could have lunch, shop for souvenirs the World of Disney Store, get a free square of chocolate at Ghiradelli Soda Fountain & Chocolate Shop, or even hop a boat for a ride to one of the other resorts. There is boat service from Disney Springs to Disney’s Old Key West Resort, Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa, and Disney’s Port Orleans Resort. At Disney’s Port Orleans Resort, you could take a break for a Mickey shaped beignet!

I hope one of these ideas will work for your family, Robyn. Have a magical visit to the Walt Disney World Resort and safe travels!
