Hello Ashley! I am so glad to hear that you are allowing your daughter to “leave the tower” to visit the Most Magical Place on Earth! One of the best parts of visiting the Walt Disney World Resort is being able to meet our favorite characters! If meeting Rapunzel is the wish of your little princess, then you will want to visit Magic Kingdom Park!
Your best chance of having a royal encounter with Rapunzel is going to be at
Princess Fairytale Hall at Magic Kingdom Park! When you arrive at the royal venue, you will find two lines. Each line allows Guests to visit two Disney princesses! One line will lead to Cinderella (and a visiting princess) while the other line will lead to Princess Tiana (and a visiting princess). While characters are subject to change, Rapunzel is usually the “visiting princess” in the line for Princess Tiana. You’ll know which princesses are available to meet in each line because their names and photos are posted outside of Princess Fairytale Hall.
While you are in Magic Kingdom Park, stick around for the
Festival of Fantasy Parade! There is an entire float-themed to Tangled! Rapunzel, Flynn Rider, and Maximus can all be found riding along the parade route on the Snuggly Duckling float! The parade usually takes place twice per day. You can find the parade times on the Festival of Fantasy Parade link that I provided in this answer.
And, let’s be sure to visit
Mickey’s Magical Friendship Faire at Magic Kingdom Park! This stage show takes place a few times during the day. Your daughter will be thrilled to see Rapunzel and Flynn Rider on stage with Mickey, Minnie, and other friends!
Finally, no visit to Magic Kingdom Park is complete for a Tangled fan without visiting the Tangled theme tower bathrooms located between Fantasyland and Liberty Square (in Magic Kingdom Park). I remember my youngest son gazing up at the tower and yelling, “Rapunzel, let down your hair!” While characters don’t appear at the Tangled-themed tower bathrooms, your daughter will absolutely recognize the tower!
Please note that characters and entertainment schedules are subject to change, so always be sure to check the links that I provided in this answer for the most up-to-date information. Also, check the times once you arrive at the park.
Ashley, one final PRO TIP to offer is that your daughter’s admittance to Magic Kingdom Park will be free! Since she is under three years of age, you will not have to purchase an admission ticket for that little princess!
Happy Planning!
