    On Mediterranean cruise 8/2014. We have several dietary issues like gluten free, lactose intolerance and food allergy. I know the ship itself handles these well, but how does it work on a shore excursion? In Rome, the excursion we like includes a meal. thx

    You are going to have an amazing Mediterranean sailing onboard the newly re-imagined Disney Magic next summer!  It is sure to be a trip of a lifetime for your crew!
    This is an excellent question, and I contacted the Disney Cruise Line Port Adventure Team to provide you with the information you need so you will be prepared come August.  What I was told is that once you have booked your excursion, you will need to contact Disney Cruise Line Special Services at dcl.shore.excursions@disney.com.  The team will check with the restaurant or food supplier to make sure your dietary needs can be met on the tour.  There is usually not a problem accommodating dietary issues, but the Special Services Team will let you know if there are any concerns once you are in contact with them.
