A very warm welcome from all of us at planDisney to you, Debbie. Thank you for stopping by to share your question with us. I'm sorry to hear that you may need to postpone your trip to the Disneyland Resort, so let's make sure you're ready with a backup plan just in case.
If you have to postpone the magic, there is some flexibility with your theme park tickets. If you recently purchased your theme park tickets at the Disneyland site or on the
Disneyland app, multi-day tickets must be used within 13 days of the first use or by January 12, 2025 (whichever comes first). You can also double-check the confirmation email you received after making your purchase, which also includes your ticket expiration date. You can cancel your theme park reservations if you no longer need them and when you're ready, you can reschedule before your tickets expire.
And no worries if you're not able to find time to visit before your ticket expires. The
value of a wholly unused expired ticket (excluding special event tickets) can be applied towards the purchase of a new theme park ticket as long as the price of the new ticket is equal to or greater than the amount paid for the original ticket.
The magic will always be waiting for you whenever you're ready. A five day visit sounds absolutely magical and there's almost always something wonderful happening at the resort. If you end up having to reschedule for a visit in the future, you may want to think about making some
advance dining reservations which can be made up to 60 days in advance of your visit. I just returned from a visit and we ate at the Carnation Cafe on Main Street, U.S.A. We happened to time it just right to see the Magic Happens Parade go by as well - simply magical!
Debbie, I hope this helps put your mind at ease. If there's anything else that we can help answer, please come back to visit. Until then, I hope you have a most magical visit to the Happiest Place on Earth!
Michelle
