Hi Chris! Thanks for visiting planDisney.
Your trip will be here before you know it. I hope you're getting ready for all the festive fun as Disneyland Resort celebrates the
Holidays. We'll be visiting during this period too, and we'll be checking the
Daily Events Schedule for information on Entertainment and picking our must-eat snacks and treats from the
Disney Eats guide. Schedules and offerings are subject to change, but I like having a loose plan in place so I don't miss out on the things that sound extra magical to my family!
It sounds like you have a 1-day adult admission ticket with no Park Hopper option, which means you can enjoy the park you selected for your theme park reservation but you can't hop over to the other park during the day. 1-day tickets are sold by a tiered system. Some days offer Guests more value than others depending on popularity. With a Tier 4 ticket, you can visit with your valid admission ticket and a theme park reservation until expiration except on days you're
blocked out, and your planned park day isn't one of those days, so you're good to go!
Finally, you have
Lightning Lane Multi Pass. This is an option we always choose when visiting Disneyland Resort. You can buy in advance, as it sounds like you did, or you can purchase using the
Disneyland mobile app on the day of your visit depending on availability. Prices are subject to change. This option allows you to select a return time for select Attractions, so you can spend less time waiting in queues and more time enjoying other aspects of the parks. If you arrive early in the day, you'll get more value out of Lightning Lane Multi Pass. You can redeem a new return time each time you scan into your existing return time at the Lightning Lane Entrance or after two hours have passed, whichever comes first. I usually book our next return time while we're walking through the Lightning Lane queue to ride. That or I'm mobile ordering our next quick service meal! I love getting the most out of our day.
Check that you have a theme park reservation associated with your theme park ticket by visiting the Disneyland Resort website and hovering over the "My Disneyland" dropdown menu. If you haven't linked your ticket yet, select that option. Once your ticket is linked, select "Theme Park Reservations" from the "My Disneyland" dropdown menu. On the next page, scroll down and click "Make or Modify Park Reservations" to be taken to a page of confirmed upcoming reservations. If you don't yet have one, you can also choose your park day and park from this page. Make that selection as soon as possible if you don't have one. Availability of theme park reservations isn't guaranteed and popular days can fill up.
I hope this helps!
Elizabeth
