What does this mean? Seating Categories for this plan: Category 1 (9:30 Only), 2 & 3. What are the categories? And does this mean we can only chose the 9:30 showing? We are purchasing the deluxe dining plan if that helps with info. Thank you guys so mu

    Great question!

What it means is that your dining plan only covers Category 1 seating at the 9:30pm show, so if you'd like to attend an earlier performance, you will have to sit in Category 2 or 3.

The seating categories are based on proximity to the show. I'll use the Hoop-Dee-Doo Revue as an example, since it's my favorite Disney dinner show. There, Category 1 seats take up almost all of the main floor. Category 2 seating is in the very back of the room and the rear part of the balcony, and Category 3 seats are on the sides of the balcony. (You can see the complete seating chart here)

For what it's worth, when we go, we only sit in Category 1. It is absolutely worth it to me to attend the later show (or to pay the additional $9 more than Cat 3 costs) to get the best seating possible.

    Hope that helps!
