What does it mean “overlapping times” on Fast Pass? My times are 3:10-4:10 for first ride & 4:10-5:10 for second. Rides are close together so shouldn’t I have time to get to second ride?

    Hi Brenda!

Welcome back to planDisney! Your trip must be getting close if you’ve already booked Lightning Lanes…how exciting!

Your My Disney Experience app will give you a warning that you have overlapping plans if your Lightning Lanes or dining reservations share any time at all. In this case, since you have two return times that include 4:10 PM (even though one’s at the end of one return time and one’s at the beginning of another), that’s why it’s giving you that notification.

No worries, though! You’re more than welcome to have overlapping times when it comes to your reservations. It’s just to give you a heads up so that you can decide if you truly have time to fit both attractions into that time. I personally love to have overlapping times throughout the day, so I can go from one attraction to the next with little to no downtime between them.

On your park day, whenever you scan into a Lightning Lane using Lightning Lane Multi Pass, you’ll be able to book any other available Lightning Lane. The system will usually allow even more overlapping timeframes on your park day than with your pre-selections. You can choose to keep those overlapping times or choose a different available time that works best for you.

I hope that all makes sense! Let us know if you have any other questions. We’ll see you real soon!
