Is it 2 much to have 3 meals planned everyday? Last year we did it with 3 and 18mths old DD. It seemed to be a good break for us, should we not do so many this year? I am planning on doing at least 1 or 2 character meal a day, 2 much?

    Hi Lora,

You know what, there are no rules about how many sit down meals are too many.  If three meals per day worked for your family and allowed you to have a relaxing break from the heat, the crowds and the general excitement, then that's perfect.

My family often does two sit down meals per day.  We like to start our day with a character breakfast, have a snack in the afternoon and eat at another "fun" restaurant in the evening - Whispering Canyon Cafe and Biergarten are two of our favorites.

Hope this helps.  Have a magical vacation!

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
