We are on the meal plan and will be visiting WDW next month during the Epcot Flower and Garden Festival. Since there are so many good food booths with snacks available, is it possible to substitute a Counter Service credit for 2 snack credits? Thanks!

The Disney Parks Moms Panel is happy to hEAR from you, Carolyn! Your countdown calendar is in the double digits, so I'm sure the excitement is building in your household!

The Disney Dining Plan is always a great add on to any Walt Disney World vacation, but I especially recommend it for any guest who wants to snack around the World Showcase at one of EPCOT's seasonal festivals. Most non-alcoholic drinks and food items available at the super-popular Outdoor Kitchens are "snack credit eligible." Just look for the purple DDP icon on the menu board. Although it is not an official Disney policy, many vendors will allow guests to trade one Quick Service credit to get three DDP-eligible snacks (as long as they're all purchased in a single transaction at the same dining location). I've been known to make an entire meal out of several items from the festival booths!

Sadly, I missed the 2020 EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival by one week! However, I always check out all the drool-worthy festival food photos online (#researchpurposes). This year, there is a brand new Outdoor Kitchen called Magnolia Terrace that is getting great reviews. Being raised New Orleans, I'm hankering for a slice of that Pecan Cake, but I'll have to live vicariously through you, Carolyn!

I hope you do some good eatin' on your vacation! See ya' real soon!
