When does the meal plan start and end?We are checking into our hotel on a Sunday and checking out The following Sunday which is 8 days,7nights, but we are only getting a 6 day park hopper pass, So how many days of meals will we have?

    Hi Janet!

The Disney dining plan is a great way to experience the many cuisines available at Walt Disney World.  From Africa to China, Mexico to Canada, there are foods to please every palate!

Your dining entitlements are linked to the length of hotel stay, not to the length of tickets.  For your family, you would be entitled to dining credits for seven nights.  If you are on the basic dining plan, each family member would have one snack credit, one table service credit and one quick service credit per night beginning the day of your arrival. I You can choose to save some credits so you can use your dining plan that final day, or you will need to pay out of pocket for those meals.  You can use whatever allotments are leftover up until 11:59 pm on the day of check out. This gives you a large amount of time on your last day to figure out how to utilize the remaining credits.

Hope this helps you plan your magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Malanie, New York

Hi there! The Disney Parks have been a part of my life since I was a little girl. Introducing my children, husband, and family to all the magic that Walt Disney World can offer has led to countless moments with Mickey and Friends, Disney Vacation Club membership and fun on the high seas with Disney Cruise Lines! Our vacations are usually centered around a visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth, and I am super excited to help you plan and create magical moments for you and your families!
