On the MDE site, certain restaurants say dining plans are not accepted, but guests who have visited recently said they used credits there, which is correct? looking specifically at Gaston's Tavern& Sleepy Hollow at MK, and Harambe Fruit Mkt. at AK

    Hey there, Sandra!

As soon as I hear the words Gaston's Tavern, I get a rumbly in my tumbly for one of the warm cinnamon rolls, drizzled with sweet icing. There are days where I could skip a full meal and have that instead. It's that good.

The way it lists on the website whether or not a restaurant participates in the Disney Dining Plan can be a bit confusing. There's a bit of a technicality at work here. While Gaston's does not technically participate in the Disney Dining Plan, they do have items that you can use your snack credits for. When you see that sort of a conflicting bit of information, chances are, it's the same sort of thing at play. There isn't a quick service or table service meal there, so technically they don't participate in the dining plan, but pop on in for a snack.

So go right ahead, try and be as quick as Gaston (no one is!) and go get you that warm cinnamon roll. Put some extra icing on it and think of me.
